Drupal Installation Steps

For Drupal Installation:

Ø Download  Drupal latest version from https://www.drupal.org/download.

Ø Extract it in xampp/htdocs.

Ø Open Pgsql/mysql admin. 

Ø Create a new database. let's say database name is drupal.

Ø In the browser  type localhost:8080// or localhost/ .

Ø Select installation profile as Standard then save and continue.

Ø  Language as English then save and continue.

Ø Give the database name which you created(drupal).

Ø Give database username & password.

Ø  Then click on advanced option and write database port as 5432 then save and continue.

Ø  Then under site information give the site name then give your email address.

Ø  Give your user name and password for cms.

Ø  Uncheck update notification then save and continue.

Ø  Now drupal installation ready. You can start exploring.
